The Videographer

Jo Horrocks

Jo has been diving since 2000 and is currently a PADI Divemaster.

Frustrated of hovering around while Keith took underwater photographs, Jo wanted to record the dynamic movement, behaviour and characteristics of the marine environment. Consequently instead of purchasing a stills camera, Jo decided that she would prefer to progress down the video route.

With limited experience of videography, Jo acquired a basic housed consumer video camera. With the absence of readily available underwater video courses, Jo has built her expertise by trial and error. She has found numerous useful tips and guidance in the book "The Underwater Videographer" by John Boyle".

Jo is a member of the British Society of Underwater Photographers (BSoUP) and Photosub.
