Jo Horrocks has been diving since 2000 and is a PADI Divemaster.
Always with a keen interest in watching wildlife documentaries, Jo took a housed video camera underwater in 2004 and has not looked back since. She dreams of travelling the world and capturing amazing footage to share and enlighten people to the remarkable beauty and diversity found beneath the waves.
Initially Jo started with a basic housed consumer video camera. With the absence of readily available underwater video courses and materials, Jo has built her expertise over the years by trial and error. Jo has found guidance and numerous useful tips in the book "The Underwater Videographer" by professional videographer John Boyle", and attended a course with John in September 2007 which has helped to improve the quality of close up and macro work.
Jo is a member of the British Society of Underwater Photographers (BSoUP) and Photosub.
Jo has recently filmed a number of BSoUP presentations so that these can be viewed on YouTube by those BSoUP members unable to attend the meeting. These can be found on BSoUP website at http://www.bsoup.org/Video.php.
